A Note from Bob

Each Lake Has a Story. Find Yours.

Lakes lake-life illustration in navy and gold.

As a lifelong Finger Lakes resident, I’ve been fortunate to call this region home. Cayuga Lake is part of my own family’s story, but my appreciation for lake life reaches across the Finger Lakes.

Each lake has its own character—from its shoreline and surrounding communities to the ways people spend their time on the water. Part of the enjoyment is discovering those differences and finding the places that feel right for you.

I’ve created these lake guides to help you get acquainted with Cayuga, Seneca, Keuka, Skaneateles, Canandaigua, and Owasco. Whether you’re considering a lake home or simply exploring the region, I hope they help you discover more of what makes this area special.
